Easy Chili Con Carne Recipe

This easy chili con carne recipe is concentrated in flavors loved it all Mexico, the chilie. So this meat and beans dish will be hot. Specific to this dish, the meat is boiled until it turns into a paste, a hot paste with red beans and seasoned with cumin.

This dish has to version to it. One with minced meat, and the other a bit more fancy, with beef steak smothered, cooked for hours. I will prepare today the easiest one, but it will be tasty and hot.

Easy Chili Con Carne Recipe

This dish will be a hot(spice from the chili) one, so you will serve it hot, with some sour cream and pita bread. So let’s gather all the ingredients and start making this easy chili con carne recipe.


  • 450 g lean minced meat;
  • 1 tin of beans (400-450 g);
  • 1 canned tomatoes (400-450 g);
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste;
  • 1 large onion;
  • 2 garlic cloves;
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil;
  • 2 dried chilies(or 3-4 teaspoon hot paprika);
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano;
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin;
  • salt;
  • pepper.

You can use 1 green onion, chopped, or cilantro leaves for decoration if you like. But it is up to you, just make sure you have the rest of the ingredients and you can strat cooking.


  1. Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely.
  2. Chop the chili as well, but not to finely.
  3. Spill the beans and rinse with cold water.
  4. If you have hole canned tomatoes cut them in cubes.
  5. Heat the oil in a saucepan or a deep frying pan.
  6. Add the minced meat, onion and garlic and fry for 7-8 minutes over medium heat until the meat is changed its color, becomed brown.
  7. Add the cut chili peppers or paprika, oregano, cumin and a pinch of salt.
  8.  Mix everything well together.
  9. Add the beans, the canned tomatoes with juice, the tomato paste and half a cup of water.
  10. Allow the beans to boil, then reduce heat, cover the saucepan and simmer everything for 20 minutes.
  11. Season with salt and pepper.
